All characters will be Matched at their arrival. If there is not the right partner, your character will have to wait to be matched at the next app round. Your character may apply to be a Single, but it would take a lot for the Officials to be convinced. The Matched live with a family. A Single lives by themselves. An Aberration has committed an Infraction, breaking an important rule. A character may become an Aberration if they commit an Infraction. They are not counted as full citizens, do not get to carry pills, and don't get the privilege of being Matched. Unlike canon, a parent will not condemn his children to Aberration status should he commit an Infraction. An Anomaly is someone who has committed rape, murder, or other such offenses. (Note: This status is given for offenses done during the game.) Anomalies are taken away from society. Unlike in canon, anomalies will be held in a prison in the Traveller's province. Please think before before doing anything that would involve your character being imprisoned. There will always be IC consequences if they are caught.
